I’m Srujan Marka, a food process engineering graduate student with over 14 years of food industry experience in quality systems, regulatory compliance, and sustainable production.

My journey has taken me from pharmaceutical sciences in India to food innovation labs in Canada, and now into cutting-edge academic research.

I’m passionate about creating smarter, cleaner, and more efficient food systems. Whether it’s optimizing a product line to reduce waste, ensuring label compliance for regulatory standards, or diving deep into analytical chemistry during research — I thrive at the intersection of science, innovation, and real-world impact.

Currently, I’m pursuing my Master of Engineering at Western University, London, ON, where I’m exploring advanced process technologies that contribute to sustainable food processing.
